Role Overview
We are looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist to drive proactive, direct sourcing and headhunting across the business, with an initial focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and support for the firm's broader regional expansion.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused sourcing role for someone who lives in the market: identifying, mapping and engaging passive talent directly, running targeted headhunting campaigns, and executing team lift-outs and multi-hire grabs from competitors. You will work alongside the Talent Acquisition Lead, taking ownership of the sourcing engine rather than the function as a whole.
The successful candidate will be measured on the strength of the pipelines they build, the calibre of passive candidates they engage, and their ability to land hard-to-find profiles and intact teams that the wider market struggles to reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Sourcing & Headhunting - Identify, research and proactively approach passive candidates through direct outreach, headhunting, referrals and networking, owning sourcing for live roles across all business areas.
- Market Mapping & Talent Intelligence - Build detailed maps of target companies, teams and individuals across KSA and the wider region, maintaining live intelligence on who sits where, compensation benchmarks, and movement in the market.
- Team Lift-Outs & Multi-Hires - Plan and execute team grabs and lift-outs from competitors, identifying intact teams and key clusters of talent, and managing the discreet, multi-threaded outreach these require.
- Pipeline Development - Build and maintain warm, segmented talent pipelines and talent pools for priority and recurring roles, reducing reliance on external agencies and shortening time to engage.
- Candidate Engagement - Run compelling first conversations that sell the opportunity and the firm, qualifying motivation, fit and availability, and keeping passive candidates warm over longer cycles.
- Stakeholder Partnering - Work closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Lead to take detailed briefs, calibrate on profiles, and feed back real-time market insight on availability, compensation and sourcing approach.
- Sourcing Tools & Channels - Make full use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent databases, referrals and other channels to find and reach talent that does not respond to advertised roles.
- Early Careers Sourcing - Support sourcing for graduate, early careers and internship hiring where required, including building relationships with universities and identifying emerging talent pools across the region.
- Data & Tracking - Track sourcing activity and pipeline metrics (outreach, response and conversion rates, source effectiveness, pipeline coverage), using the data to sharpen targeting and report on progress.
- Best Practice & Compliance - Source in line with company policies, Middle East labour considerations and DEI principles, ensuring a professional and engaging candidate experience throughout.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a natural hunter: someone who is energised by finding people others can't, comfortable picking up the phone to passive candidates, and tenacious in working a market until the right profile is landed.
You will have hands-on sourcing or research experience, ideally gained in executive search, an RPO, an agency, or an in-house sourcing team, with exposure to the Middle East market and a working understanding of hiring in KSA. Experience across consulting, professional services or financial services would be an advantage.
You are strong on market mapping and talent intelligence, and you take pride in building a clear, accurate picture of where the best people sit. You are confident running direct headhunting outreach and comfortable with the discretion and persistence that team lift-outs demand.
You are fluent in modern sourcing tools and techniques, from Boolean and LinkedIn Recruiter through to referrals and creative channels, and you bring a data-informed mindset, using response and conversion data to improve your hit rate without losing the human touch in how you engage people.
Most importantly, you thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity, motivated by the chase, and excited to build the sourcing capability that fuels the firm's growth across the region. This is a delivery and sourcing role rather than a team leadership one, and the right person will want to be deep in the market every day.
